Portal designed to store medical records of individuals
- includes their current drug therapy, prior surgeries,
hospitalizations, on-going medical problems, allergies,
etc. This portal can be very useful for corporate
employees who travel often.
Lets
take a look at a scenario:
A company has an employee who has traveled abroad
and all of a sudden needs medical treatment due
to a sudden bout of illness. He had been suffering
some disease and was under treatment. Now the
doctor in abroad needs to know complete information
of his disease and the medical treatments he has
been undergoing. For such a scenario the person
traveling abroad needs to carry all his medical
documents and needs to produce them to the doctor
who would be treating him. The person may not
be carrying the required documents and to help
the doctor diagnose him and give prompt and proper
medical assistance, his previous medical records
need to be scrutinized. The same could be got
at the click of a button if the person was an
employee of the company who is a subscriber of
the medical portal.
The employee will be carrying an I Card, with
the subscriber code and the site detail. In case
of emergency anyone can access his medical records
based on the information provided on the I Card.
So that if the employee is a subscriber to this
service portal, timely medical help can be provided
anywhere, hence saving his life and preventing
any known drug allergies and complications arising
